Enter our Creative 3rd Space in Downtown Rogers

Getting Creative: Downtown Rogers (DTR) is celebrating Artober during the month of October! All year long, numerous DTR businesses feature a range of artists, makers, and other talented creatives, providing interactive experiences for the community to enjoy. Every second Thursday Art on the Bricks Art Walk provides regional artists the opportunity to demonstrate or exhibit and sell their work in galleries and pop-up shops. From 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. October 12, more than a dozen Downtown Rogers business host guest artists or feature locally made products or offer other fun opportunities to enjoy the DTR creative economy.

Enter our third space: Whether you are perking up or winding down, we hope your FAVORITE places to hang out and have fun are found on or near the bricks of Downtown Rogers!

  • Third spaces: this concept divides life into three primary places where we invest time: the first space is your home, the second space is your work, and the third space is where you connect with your community and feel at home.
  • Examples of third spaces include: restaurants, pubs, libraries, galleries, bookstores, churches, parks and more! For many of us, there are numerous DTR locations that serve as our third space.
  • October is recognized as National Arts and Humanities Month (NAHM), a coast-to-coast collective celebration of culture in America.
  • Each year since 1993, NAHM has helped give millions of Americans the opportunity to explore new facets of the arts and humanities in their lives and has encouraged them to begin a lifelong habit of active participation.

Featuring a vibrant addition to Art on the Bricks and DTR: As you turn a kaleidoscope, you create a changing mix of shapes, colors, and designs.

  • Kaleidoscope Collective is the perfect name and the perfect addition to the Downtown Rogers creative economy. Located at 109 W Walnut Street, everywhere you turn you will discover the works of artists, designers, and makers who are inspired to create local art and handmade goods.
  • Kaleidoscope Collective is a place where local artists, makers, and designers showcase their work within a revolving community of creatives. CLICK HERE for more info.
