In our sights: As you turn a kaleidoscope you create a changing mix of shapes, colors, and designs. Kaleidoscope Collective is the perfect name and the perfect addition to the Downtown Rogers creative economy. Located at 109 W Walnut Street, everywhere you turn you will discover the works of artists, designers, and makers who are inspired to create local art and handmade goods. Kaleidoscope Collective is a place where local artists, makers, and designers showcase their work within a revolving community of creatives.

Kaleidoscope Collective is a retail shop and a community space revolving around local makers and curated decor, furnishings, and gifts. They have curated a collection of established makers looking for a space to grow creatively and push the boundaries of their craft. Their creations include: jewelry, pottery, paintings, ceramics, woodworking, prints, and more.

A Creative Community: Owner and founder, Ashlyn Dillard, envisioned a community of makers, thinkers designers, painters and more—all coming together as a collective community.
To Market to Market: Rather than going to Dallas, Atlanta or Chicago, or any of the other wholesale markets of mass-produced goods, Dillard is sourcing most of her inventory from artisans in her own backyard. The collective bring a wide range of talent, from painters to jewelry designers, makers of furniture, ceramics, textiles, handmade greeting cards and so much more! Most of their artists have ties to Arkansas, but they also have a few from further abroad who really stood out as masters of their craft.

Meet the Collective: Downtown Rogers is excited to experience this vibrant new home for makers and artists right here in Downtown Rogers. Currently, 27 artists are part of the dream. And some of them will be sharing their talents with classes and workshops. Kaleidoscope Collective will allow you to explore your creative soul with a variety of classes and workshops across several mediums. Watch for their class offerings coming soon.

Seriously Talented: Dillard earned a BFA in furniture design and a minor in accessory design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. She has worked as an interior designer with clients incorporating her love of furniture and design to create beautiful customized spaces. To become more involved in the maker community here in Northwest Arkansas she envisioned the opportunity to bring like-minded artists together to create something really magical. But what was it? A co-working space? A studio or retail space?
Just a Little Push: In November of 2022, her best friend called to tell her the commercial property next to her store was going up for rent. This nudge was what it took to bring her dream into reality. “I hope to create a community to support local artists, designers, and makers,” she explained. “I want to give people a place to sell their work in a setting that is more permanent than a weekend market yet more approachable than a traditional gallery space, she continued. “And that’s how the concept of Kaleidoscope Collective was born.”
