Harold's Diner, Soda Fountain and Farmacy is a ministry AND a place to enjoy delicious and healthy food. The founders are bringing their passion for feeding the community in the form of a restaurant to 710 N. 2nd Street, in Downtown Rogers. Their menu includes a variety of plant-based options and menu offerings as close to Farm to Plate as you will find in a restaurant.

They are hosting a soft opening at their new brick and mortar with a Mother's Day Brunch, 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 14. Kids under 8 eat free, and you can enjoy buffet style dining, featuring clean, gluten free, locally sourced food. The fixed price buffet is $31 and you may make reservations by email at [email protected].

It is the mission of Harold’s Diner to provide a place of security in trust and food. Founders--Coty Pate, chef, founder and operator; and Josh Musehl, assistant operator--strive to provide you with food that feeds more than your appetite as they prepare clean, local and mindful meals. Supporting Harold’s Diner does more than just help a food service operation. It helps build our community by sourcing local farmers and other entrepreneurs to ensure you get the purest options available.

Chef Coty Pate believes meal time is one of the most important aspects of our lives. This is why he pursued culinary arts and business management at the Art Institute of Phoenix, AZ. There he learned from some of the best chefs and business professionals in the world.

He took the tools he learned in college to complete an externship in Lyon, France furthering his culinary knowledge and skills. Living in a foreign country ignited a passion to travel and spread his knowledge of cooking with health and wellness in mind.

His career took him to positions at 5 star resorts to small locally owned businesses and eventually to serve as a private chef in the yachting and estates in Florida and The Bahamas. It was during this time Coty truly focused on building an operation to feed the masses. While he accomplished many goals throughout his life, Coty still felt the need that his skills and knowledge were meant for more than just feeding a select few. This is why he felt it would be best to open a diner that operates in a completely different way than most other food service operations. Coty is sharing the knowledge and power of food to everyone that seeks a place of food security from his first Brick and Mortar in Downtown Rogers.

They operate as a ministry, Harold's Gatherings, a non profit organization, and ask that guests provide a minimum requested donation in exchange for nourishing food. And, those who feel compelled are welcome to 'pay it forward' and offer an extra donation to allow another soul to experience their nutritional, soul fueling food. This is achieved with our “Lunch Box” system that plays a main role at “Harold’s Diner, Soda Fountain & Farmacy. The organization strives to people in our community who struggle with food insecurity, and their primary focus is to ensure children in our community do not go without a school lunch. Harold’s also provides a safe place for children to gather with friends during and after the school year.

The eatery and ministry are named for Coty's grandfather, Harold Hagar, a US Army Green Beret, Justice of the Peace, author, missionary, entrepreneur and computer programmer...you could say "a Renaissance Man."  Harold, the man, enjoyed supporting his neighbors helping his community. Harold’s is a place of open doors to whoever needs a meal and offers gratuitous options for those with food insecurities.

“Harold’s Diner, Soda Fountain & Farmacy” also attracts the local bicycling community. Located on the Railyard Loop of the Razorback Greenway trail, it is a convenient pit-stop for the bicyclist on the go. Their menu provides clean – fueling – healthy options that are easy to take on-the-go by those enjoying the bicycle trails.

In addition to meals served at Harold’s Diner, patrons may pick up holistic needs from the farmacy and leave satisfied knowing that they are feeding themselves and the community.
