The Rogers Lowell Chamber launched the Downtown Rogers Merchant MeetUp to allow business owners to share success stories and ideas to further economic development.
- Designed to facilitate connections and collaborations among Downtown Rogers businesses.
- Businesses come together to convene, connect, converse and collaborate over coffee.

Primarily a networking event, the exchange of information and ideas takes place the 3rd Thursday of each month.
- Several DTR businesses have volunteered to play host as it is gaining in popularity.
- Twenty-seven business professionals gathered at for the March Merchant MeetUp.
The Java Dudes: Justin Reed and Dustin Breazeale extended a warm welcome, beverages and snacks in their unique space! Conversation and coffee were abundant as participants made new acquaintances and caught up with familiar faces.

Business development tips were shared by Attorney, Maggie Geren of Miller, Butler, Schneider, Pawlik & Rozzell, PLLC. Geren was invited to share with business owners estate planning tips and legal obstacles to avoid.
Estate Planning Tips for Business Owners:
- Appoint a Financial Power of Attorney: Immediate vs. springing powers of attorney and general vs. limited powers of attorney
- Establish a Revocable Trust: Wills vs. trust
- Create a Succession Plan: Estate plan, corporate documents and buy-sell agreement

On the map: the 2023 Go Downtown Rogers shopping guide and map was distributed. The Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette worked to acquire the 2022 assets and continue the publication of the popular map through their NWA Media division. Read more here.
