Time flies when you are having fun: We can't believe it's almost been 1 year since Nola's Pantry opened their doors in Downtown Rogers! The specialty food shop and cafe is hosting a multii-day celebration for the community! Stop by and wish them a happy birthday and experience the flavors and shop the pantry for spices, rubs, hot sauces, jams, honey, tea, coffee, soup mixes, cocktail syrups, gifts and pantry accessories. The celebration begins Wednesday, March 15th and continues through Saturday the 18th.

How it all started: Nola's Pantry was founded by Bill and Alicen Rumsey-foodies, all around adventurers, constantly in search of new flavor. They are always on the lookout for something new, something different, something unexpected but forever delicious!! Relative newlyweds, Bill and Alicen met in 2017 at Beaver Lake and that is where their story began. A professional in the fields of fire fighting and fire safety, Bill spent countless years cooking in the firehouse, creating his own recipes and learning culinary skills from his dad and mom. Bill never failed to impress Alicen with his culinary delights, so you might say it was love at first bite. These moments led the couple to open Nola’s Pantry, named in memory of Bill’s mom, "Nola."

Explore the Pantry: They opened Nola’s Pantry to help educate Northwest Arkansas about a better way to eat through the use of spices, healthy fats, unrefined salts and sugars. Their mission is to eat more veggies and less animal protein or carbs and inspire you to choose to create dishes that pack a punch of flavor using their small batch ingredients. Yes you can indulge in decadent favorites, but in small doses! They fully support the 80/20 rule - mostly healthy is the new healthy!!

Why the cafe? Bill and Alicen feel it’s important to “try before you buy” so samples from the pantry are available in the cafe and numerous menu items from the cafe are sold in the store. They strive for an interactive experience so please don’t be shy to ask!

It's About Community: The Nola's team are also passionate about creating a gathering place for the community to keep on encouraging each other, be thoughtful and do helpful things. Their community events, ranging from maker classes, couples and ladie's nights, live music or food making classes.
