The Chamber's Member Engagement Committee held its first meeting of the year in January, sponsored by Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. A big thank you to Arkansas Blue for their sponsorship and support!

We welcomed six new volunteers and a new Chair: Candice Holt, Manager of Arkansas Blue in Rogers.

“I am honored to lead this year’s Member Engagement Committee. Active and engaged business leaders strengthen, empower and improve the well-being of our community, economically and socially. The Member Engagement Committee is dedicated to maintaining and growing the relationships that make our community great, serving business and community together,” said Holt.

Past Chair, Shauna Shrum, was presented with a Volunteer Service Award for her leadership on the Committee. Shauna’s strong leadership helped the Committee achieve their goal of 240 member engagement visits in 2022. Along with Shauna, we recognized Donna Katzfey and Jen Edwards for always going the extra mile to visit members and make sure they were connected and informed.

The Chamber is grateful to all our volunteers who are passionate about our mission-work, and are dedicated to the spirit of service. The collective impact of our volunteers continues to make a difference and supports the Chamber’s efforts in helping members connect, invest and grow.

The Committee enjoyed two guest speakers and Chamber staffers. SVP of Community Development Ross Phillips provided highlights on the important mission-work of the Chamber including next generation outreach, community engagement, and leadership programs. Justin Freeman, Marketing Communications Manager presented information about the Chamber’s focus on member testimonials and how the Committee can help find success stories to share with the community. We look forward to another great year serving together to support our member businesses. To learn more about the committee and how to join, contact Marni Rogers at [email protected].
