NWA’s First Ever Selfie Pop-Up Comes to Brick & Mortar in DTR

SNAPS NWA is an interactive selfie pop--up event with interactive vignettes curated by regional artist and creatives

Downtown Rogers event venue, Brick & Mortar, has partnered with media production company, Arli Media, to host their first-ever SNAPS NWA. This curated pop-up event offers patrons an interactive experience to capture selfies in themed booths designed by regional artists and creatives. Timed tickets are now available for Thursday, February 2 through Sunday 5, 2023 at Brick & Mortar on Union Block, 120 W Walnut, Rogers, AR. The Downtown Rogers interactive experience is sponsored by Rogers Art on the Bricks, a program of Rogers Lowell Chamber. 

Bring your Valentine or your besties to a pop-up event where you may interact with the creations of five regional artists. Booths, called "snaps spots," offer a range of styles and art mediums and feature a wide-range of concepts for February’s theme “All You Need Is Love." Experience a celestial dreamscape, capture memories as you step back to a more nostalgic time, or use of art to inspire self-love and the importance of one’s mental health.

Meet the Artists: 

  • Maryanne Stewart--specializing in refurbished/repurposed furniture and home goods. Maryanne owns and operates her store Modest Method located in downtown Rogers. With the idea to recycle, reuse, and repurpose.
  • Kylie Meador owns and operates Timber Dust Jewels. Kylie is inspired by nature and creates art and jewelry featuring gemstones, natural materials, and hand sculpted pieces.
  • Shelley Mouber is a co-founder of NWA Makers, a gallery to highlight local artists and creators. Shelley believes in being inclusive and uses her art to empower her community. She is an advocate for mental health and the LGBTQIA+ community.
  • Shelby Nichols is an artist and art instructor known for capturing pets in a stylish way. Her approach is bright and bold.
  • Ryan Freeman Burchfield is an artist and therapist who brings mental health and art together at Freeman-Burchfield Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Through combining her passions for art and therapy, she helps bring healing to others.


SNAPS NWA: NWA’s first ever selfie Pop-Up experience and a ticketed event for the members of the community to capture selfies and photographs in booths, called “snaps spots." Each ticket includes a one-hour session with access to all of the booths. Attendees are encouraged to bring cameras and smartphones. Instant cameras and film are available to rent.

VIP Tickets: Thursday, February 2, 2023 VIP Party 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM (one hour sessions) The VIP party is Thursday, February 2nd and will include a one hour session, appetizers by The Sous Chef, drinks, a swag bag and an Artist Meet & Greet.

Art Market: Visit the art market featuring artists’ products available to purchase.

Friday, February 3, 2023 -- 1 PM - Midnight; (private sessions available from 9 AM - Noon)
Saturday, February 4, 2023 --11 AM - Midnight; (private sessions available from 9 AM-11 AM) 
Sunday, February 5, 2023 --1 PM - 5 PM; (private sessions available from 9 AM-1 PM)
