The community is invited to the Grand Opening celebration of Banco Sí!, Friday, September 23rd, at 114 S. 1st Street in in Downtown Rogers. Join them for networking and a tour of the historic building designed by the area’s leading architect, A. O. Clark and first opened as The Bank of Rogers in 1907. Banco Sí! completed slight renovations to the historic building which features a limestone façade with red granite columns beneath a Romanesque arch. The ceremonial ribbon cutting by the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce takes place at 4:00 p.m. followed by for Banco Sí!’s Community Block Party until 7:00 p.m. where food, festivities, and community resources will be plentiful.

A division of Signature Bank, the Banco Sí! team has hit the ground running, creating relationships in the community, and forming connections and partnerships with organizations who serve Northwest Arkansas’ diverse multicultural community. Many of these partners are participating in the grand opening showcasing their services during the block party, and Banco Sí! hopes this display will help members of the multicultural community discover a variety of resources dedicated to serving their specific needs.

Banco Sí! exists to serve the thriving Hispanic & Latino population of Northwest Arkansas by providing bankers and experiences that inspire trust in a historically underserved community. Banco Sí! is fully staffed by bilingual (English-Spanish) team members equipped to serve new customers to the Banco Sí! brand, as well as any existing Signature customer wishing to conduct business in Downtown Rogers.
Signature Bank of Arkansas has worked tirelessly over the course of this year to develop and create resources in the Spanish language previously unavailable to their customers. While work remains to be done from a regulatory standpoint, the team is thrilled to offer Banco Sí! customers the ability to conduct bank business in their preferred language. An advisory board of 20 members of the local Hispanic & Latino population has been established and meets regularly to provide input and guidance for this first-of-its-kind endeavor.
THE CASE FOR BANCO SÍ! From 1990 to 2021, the percentage of Northwest Arkansas’ Hisanic/Latino population grew from 1.3% to 17.3%. With a reported with 33.8% Hispanic/Latino population and a 2021-2022 projected public school district enrollment of 47.8% Hispanic/Latino students, Rogers became the ideal first location for Banco Sí!, however downtown Rogers is only the beginning for Banco Sí! Signature plans to expand the Banco Sí! brand to Springdale and Siloam Springs.
