Dance with Me Studio by Aura is a ballroom & Latin dance studio and club located at 210 E. Chestnut Street in Downtown Rogers, Arkansas. Owner Aura M. Maurice is a Renaissance woman with an incredible amount of talent. She is dedicated to sharing her passion for dance as a professional performer and instructor. She brings social dancing to her students using a fun, fast and easy learning process. Her studio offers group and private lessons for adults and children as well as social dance nights.
Aura was just three years old when she performed for the first time and she loved dancing before an audience. She has vivid memories of a beautiful red dress made by her mother—and she wanted to dance every day after from that point on.

While in middle school, she saw “Ballet Teatro de El Salvador.” Their costumes and performance were spectacular. “I felt so inspired and I knew then,” she explained. “I was on my way to follow what I started calling my dream.” Remarkably, Mauricio Bonilla, director of Ballet Teatro, was hired at her school to teach a fitness/dance class. He recognized her talent and soon after invited her to become a member of his dance company. “I was thrilled with the opportunity to become a professional dancer, and to be able to show my talent, and my journey began.”
Following High School, Aura continued to pursue dance as well as a career in marketing. She taught dance to young children, her very first experience as a teacher, which she continues to love. As a woman in constant pursuit of new challenges, she also pursued other opportunities including: modeling, singing and acting.

Aura is naturally gifted in many areas and danced at national and international level, sang with an internationally known singer, acted in a new TV show, and performed as a dancer for several international singers during their tours in El Salvador. After graduating from college with a degree in marketing, she had the opportunity to come to the United States and pursue a career in a new country.
“I moved to Arkansas in November of 2006 and began looking for opportunities to teach dance,” she explained. She secured an opportunity to teach ballroom and Latin dance at a studio in NWA while using her marketing skills to grow her reputation as a teacher and build her clientele and opened her own dance studio in 2014 and continued to study dance and trained with national and international championship dance partners.
“After 16 years of being in the United States, I have been able to bring my passion to so many people of all ages in NWA, Central Arkansas, and Missouri,” she beamed. “It fills me with joy to hear the impact that I am able to make in people's lives.”

Today, her studio offers a diverse array of dance and networking experiences as she continues making a difference in the community teaching social dancing, performing at corporate and special events, choreographing and teaching brides and grooms for their “first dance,” and volunteering in the community. “I love what I do, and I find full joy in sharing my passion for dancing with others.”
