The BITE NWA food festival celebrates the diversity of culture in the region as part of the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G’s year-round community programming. The festival will return beginning in July as a three-part event series in conjunction with the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G. The 2022 #BITENWA series will kick off with an initial event at Frisco Plaza in Downtown Rogers on Friday, July 29. This BITE | LITE experience will feature the traditional #BITENWA experience – including local restaurants, brand activations and live music – in a more intimate setting at Railyard Park.
Traditionally held in one location during #NWAChampionship Week, the expanded series will move to various locations throughout the region with both daytime and evening culinary experiences for the community to enjoy. Additional events are scheduled September 1 in Springdale and September 23 – 25 at Pinnacle Country Club during #NWAChampionship Week. The festival celebrates the region’s best cuisines, ingredients, restaurants and chefs, giving attendees an unparalleled culinary experience in their own backyard. Taste, sip, sample and discover the best of the 479 and beyond.
#NWAChampionship Week returns September 17 – 25, 2022, bringing 144 of the best female golfers in the world to Pinnacle Country Club to compete. In addition to the golf tournament, the week-long schedule of community-driven events will also feature a family-friendly 5k race, women’s empowerment summit and a variety of children’s activities. Ticket sales for the #NWAChampionship will also be available beginning May 16, with volunteer registration opening in early June.
In addition to regional restaurants, Downtown Rogers Based Ozark Beer Company will provide locally crafted beer for attendees. Ozark Beer is Collaborating with BlackMan Brewing Company during BITENWA 2022. Nomadic brewer Barrett Tillman works in collaboration with existing breweries, like Ozark Beer Company, to release specialty products. He enjoys exploring local ingredients and mixed fermentation using native microflora.
Artist and Owner of Downtown Rogers’s Into+View Gallery & Studio is also participating in the culinary experience.
