These Kings Know Custom Jewelry Isn’t Just for Royalty | Morris Crown Jewelry Makes Your Vision a Reality in Downtown Rogers

In late 2019, David and Holly King decided to pursue an adventure in jewelry design and repair in NW Arkansas.  As a self-taught jeweler with a background in mechanics and metalsmithing, David began to build a business model to help solve the overwhelming feeling that “buying custom jewelry” is only for the few. He believes custom jewelry should be available for anyone wanting to express their personality or style without an inflated price tag.  The couple design each individual piece with the customer in mind and their unique style.  With the help of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and international sourcing of gemstones and diamonds, they strive to make everyone feel welcome while unburdened with excessive expense.

Starting small, initially in Elm Springs, Arkansas, their goal was to create jewelry available to anyone wanting fine or gemstone jewelry with a meaningful story. With the onset of the Pandemic, they started working remotely from their off-site studio and concentrating on how to provide the best service. They believe it was divine intervention and a client referral that led them to a new studio and storefront in Rogers, Arkansas.  Believing in the future of Morris Crown, they embarked on the next chapter of our business and lives.

“Downtown Rogers has been a blessing for us with a variety of new clients that have never heard of our jewelry line,” explained Holly.  “We have some of the best returning clients any business could hope for,” she continued.  They view themselves as “just David and Holly at the jewelry store down the street,” as they strive to offer the most affordable, unique, and glamorous one-of-a-kind designs found in NW Arkansas.  They are focused on a simple set of guidelines for their business and their lives—enjoy each day and what you do, treat each customer like you expect to be treated and finally have fun making beautiful jewelry.

For all those wanting to visit their downtown Rogers store, be prepared to be greeted by the shop dog, a beautiful Australian Shepherd named Cash King, in honor of Johnny Cash.  Cash, the latest addition to the Morris Crown family, is just over a year old.  For those who have been with them from the start, their first fur baby, Jax King, will always be in their hearts. He helped them move into our new location before passing over the Rainbow Bridge and will always be in their hearts and never forgotten.

Morris Crown is open Tuesday-Saturday and by private appointment. They invite you experience stress-free jewelry shopping and design consultations. Once you meet them you will know they enjoy what they do and are committed to provide excellent products and service.
