Ozark Beer Company Encourages Growth of Small Businesses and Nonprofits

Posted by: Justin Freeman on Wednesday, January 26, 2022

Ozark Beer Co. first began production for commercial sales in 2013 in a warehouse a short distance south of Downtown Rogers. They moved their production facility and taproom to their current location at the corner of N Arkansas and East Chestnut in 2017. "Hard Work, Honest Beer," is a suitable slogan for a company that, in 2021, increased their seating with an outdoor patio, doubled their production capacity and opened a 2nd taproom in Bentonville--all during an unprecedented pandemic that slowed or halted many other businesses.

Ozark Beer Company is a champion for quality of life in our region and their commitment to community goes well beyond offering great beer and great service for their clients. They also provide opportunities for pop-up shops, guest artists and space for a food truck. In late 2021 they also launched a new program called "Drink Beer, Do Good," a charity spotlight that Ozark Beer brings to each of their locations in Downtown Rogers and Bentonville. Once each month they partner with a local nonprofit organization, allow them to share their mission and give back $1 from every alcoholic beverage purchased that day.

Additionally, they demonstrate an ongoing commitment to partnering with other entrepreneurs and makers, as well as locally owned businesses--and their efforts are inspiring. They provide gallery space for guests artists on the 2nd floor of their tap room, hosted vendors during the Big Gay Market, invite makers and artists to teach hands-on classes, and this week are promoting the Twig's BBQ food truck in front of their building.

When asked why Ozark Beer chooses to assist other small businesses, co-owner Lacie Bray responded, "We have always been a community-focused business, but that has really been driven home in the last couple of years," she explained. "Our community and neighbors really came through for us during the first year of the pandemic, and then the second year--even when there wasn’t a road to get to our business," she quipped.  "We love to see the new excitement, energy, people and businesses that are moving in to our area. If we can help other like-minded businesses, we are happy to reciprocate all the love and support we have seen." .
