The Governor’s remarks are scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. The Ready to Run program, sponsored by NWAEL, is a preparation seminar designed for Arkansans seeking to run for elected office. After Governor Hutchinson’s opening remarks, seminar participants will convene to hear presentations and learn from leaders in the following fields: • Effective Campaign Communication; • Campaign Organization; • Voter Outreach; • Social Media Strategy; and • Effective Political Campaign Fundraising. The Ready to Run program will also be capped off with a lunchtime keynote address by Roby Brock, CEO and host of Talk Business and Politics, a news website that covers business, politics, and culture in Arkansas. Mr. Brock is also the CEO of the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal. Governor Hutchinson’s remarks are open to the public, but reservations are suggested to accommodate adequate seating.
