The Community is Invited to Banco Sí! Grand Opening and Block Party
The community is invited to the Grand Opening celebration of Banco Sí!, Friday, September 23rd, at 114 S. 1st Street in in Downtown Rogers. Join them for networking and a tour of the historic building designed by the area’s leading architect, A. O. Clark and first opened as The Bank of Rogers in 1907. Banco Sí! completed slight renovations to the historic building which features a limestone façade with red granite columns beneath a Romanesque arch. The ceremonial ribbon cutting by the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce takes place at 4:00 p.m. followed by for Banco Sí!’s Community Block Party until 7:00 p.m. where food, festivities, and community resources will be plentiful.

Rogers Short Film Festival Returns to the Victory Theater
The third annual Rogers Short Film Festival invites filmmakers of all ages to compete in categories based on experience and budget. The event provides an opportunity for creatives from across the country and internationally to convene in Downtown Rogers to meet one another, network, and have a platform for their films. Short films, with a run time of 30 minutes or less, are juried into the festival and screened at the historic Victory Theater. The event dates are March 3 – 5, 2023, Categories include: K-12 Student, Postsecondary Student, Amateur, and Professional. Film submissions and sponsorship opportunities are open now.

Frisco Inferno BBQ Competition-Do You Have What it Takes?
The 7th annual Frisco Inferno Barbecue Competition & Tasting takes place Saturday, October 8th at 301 S 1st Street in Downtown Rogers. The official barbecue tasting competition of Bikes Blues & BBQ, the event is at the center of all the Downtown Rogers Rally Week festivities. Hosted by the Rotary Club of Downtown Rogers, the event features smoked pork butts and chicken for a public tasting event with up to 25 barbecue teams competing. Teams will also submit smoked pork butt and chicken leg quarters for the judges choices awards with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place judges choice trophies in each division. $3,500 in cash prizes and trophies will be awarded. There are still a few slots left and registration to compete is available online.

Natural State Beverage Company creates natural sodas and delicious kombucha. Founded by co-owners Krista and Ty Cloud in February 2021, they first set up their operation in a small commercial location in Bentonville and have recently moved to a significantly larger location at 215 S Arkansas, just North of Jiffy Kwick. As the popularity of their natural sodas and delicious kombucha grew, they quickly recognized the need for more space to increase production so they purchased the property at 215 S Arkansas, which has previously been home to a laundromat, an appliance shop and a church.

Arkansas Public Theatre Opens Season 37
Arkansas Public Theatre begins its 37th season at the Victory Theater with the first performance set for mid-September. Season 37 Memberships include tickets to all Main Stage Performances in the 2022-2023 season with early access to your favorite seats and complementary tickets to the Season 38 Preview Party. Members are also able to receive complementary ticket exchanges 24 hours before showtime. Patrons may contact the theater by phone or online to become sponsors or purchase season tickets. Individual ticket sales for each performance are released a few weeks prior to each opening based on availability. Tickets are available at arkansaspublictheatre.org or call 479-631-8988. Tickets range in price from $20-$45. Doors open at 1 hour before shows start.
