NWACC’s CRA program is geared towards individuals, such as career changers, displaced workers or those wishing to enhance their skill sets for an analyst role within the supplier or retailer community.

The 2021-2022 school year will open with a vigorous commitment to the ongoing improvement of Launch Career Programs offered within the Rogers School District.  One of the essential elements of continuous improvement is the purposeful cognizance of local and regional workforce demands, as well as the projected growth and replenishment of the current workforce needs within each industry sectors.

The Board of Directors is the policymaking body of the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce, and its members represent a cross-section of the business and professional leadership in our community.  In accordance with the Bylaws, a Board Nominating Committee was appointed earlier this year to recommend vacancies that will expire December 31, 2021.  Get to know these nominees accepted by the Board.

Tom is the typical small business owner in North America. He is working fifty-five hours each week but making less money than he used to in his old corporate job. He feels like his business has become a ball and chain and he is not quite sure how to fix it. He needs more revenue (that would be nice!) but he is already overwhelmed with the work he has. In fact, he often misses supper with his family a couple nights every week taking care of customers or other business issues. The thought of “more of this” is just overwhelming.

Film production in Northwest Arkansas has accelerated in the last 10 years through the contributions of local and national production companies. The film industry positively impacts our economy for dozens of local businesses, including catering, lodging, and transportation. The Arkansas film industry dates back 95 years and employment opportunities grow along with the industry. With over 80 films produced to date, there is a rich history of filmmaking in Arkansas.

We engage the community in the political process from contacting a legislator to registering to vote. By working together, our voices influence positive legislation outcomes for business-driven, public policy. This article examines the upcoming legislative redistricting and insights so you may influence districts being created with your business interests and concerns in mind.

Over the past year, our business community has proven to be resilient and played a crucial role in combatting the pandemic from shutdown and survival to reopening safely.  Most recently, businesses have been navigating unprecedented challenges of the recovery in progress. As the pathway to economic recovery unfolds, outcomes from the Chamber’s mission-work are helping our community recover more quickly. This story features some of our recent work.
