Arvest Bank executives announced the four winners of the second annual Northwest Arkansas Outstanding Business Awards at a luncheon Wednesday (April 9). The winners are Havenwood, mejo, PodcastVideos.com and Onyx Coffee Lab.
More than 120 people attended the luncheon event at the Holiday Inn in Springdale. Arvest Bank was the sponsor, and the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal managed the recognition program.
An independent panel of judges selected the finalists in four categories, including nonprofit, startup, small business and large business. Each category had four finalists, and they were featured in the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal on April 7.
The judges also selected the winners. Following are the winners in each category:
- Nonprofit: Bentonville-based Havenwood
- Startup: Bentonville-based mejo
- Small business: Rogers-based PodcastVideos.com
- Large business: Rogers-based Onyx Coffee Lab
Before the winners were announced, Roby Brock, an owner of Natural State Media, the parent company of the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal, provided updates on the state’s economy and the Legislature.
