University of Arkansas Professional and Workforce Development is offering several continuing education courses coming soon


Drone Pilot Training

Jan 16 and 30, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Feb 13 and 27, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

This course, Unmanned Aircraft Systems 1, is the first step to becoming a professional UAS (drone) pilot, and it is intended for people who want to become more proficient pilots, flying safely and legally. Learn unmanned aircraft best practices and gain practical proficiency with hands-on flying.
 
Free SHRM Information Session

January 16, 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

At this free session, you will learn about the several ways to prepare for the certification exam and which certification is right for you. Learn about SHRM, the 2020 SHRM Learning System for SHRM-CP/ SHRM-SCP, and the preparation options the Global Campus can provide.

Strategic Goal Setting and Implementation

January 31, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

In this class, you will gain an understanding of strategic goals and why they are important. Then, consider your organization’s needs, identify your goals, and create an action plan for communication, implementation and monitoring progress towards those goals.

Increasing Productivity in the Workplace

February 7, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

In our current environment, both small and large organizations need the same thing from their employees: efficiency. This course will discuss how to ensure you operate as efficiently as possible to maximize your productivity in the office.
