A Texas Size Welcome in Downtown Rogers
The Chamber and the City of Rogers hosted a site visit from representatives of Frisco, Texas to discuss urban planning, Downtown revitalization, and comprehensive growth plans for our city. Hosted at Ozark Beer Company in Downtown Rogers, this multi-hour meeting created great conversation highlighting the redevelopment of Downtown Rogers and learning the similar challenges and opportunities found in Frisco.
A Reason to Celebrate Craft Beer Industry and Ozark Beer Co.
April 7 is recognized as National Beer Day in the U.S., and April 6 is known as New Beer's Eve. Why, you ask? April 7 is the anniversary of the end of Prohibition in the United States. Those who frequent Downtown Rogers restaurants and bars don't need a special day to enjoy locally the popular beverage that has been made for over 5,000 years. But it is a great reason for us to shine the spotlight and help you get acquainted with one of the founders and co-owners of Ozark Beer Company, Lacie Bray.
Landmark Downtown Rogers Building Celebrated by Daisy Airgun Museum
Each year, the Daisy Airgun Museum creates a custom engraving for the annual Downtown Rogers, Arkansas, Limited Edition Model 25 BB gun. This is a fully functional Model 25 Daisy BB gun with laser engraving on the stock. This year, Daisy chose to highlight the Opera Block, located at the Southwest corner of Walnut and First Streets in our Historic Downtown. The annual issue of this and gun will be closed when 500 guns have been produced or on the last business day of 2022, whichever comes first. The gun includes an insert card about the image and building.
