DTR Merchant Meet Up Shares Opportunities
Two New Downtown Attractions: Downtown Rogers businesses are invited to host either of two new public art installations that will further attract patrons to the Downtown community. Both projects will be published and promoted in news releases, on social media, and on websites inviting people to experience the many amenities in Downtown Rogers. Participants in the January DTR Merchant MeetUp met the artists and had the first opportunity to sign up to be locations for these art installations.
DTR is Getting Squared Away Along the Arkansas Quilt Trails
Getting Squared Away: Art on the Bricks Art Walk patrons are invited to participate in a community art making project from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. indoors at Rogers Experimental House, 121 W Walnut Street, during the January 11 Art Walk. Mechel Wall, the Benton County coordinator of the Arkansas Quilt Trails, worked with Rogers Lowell Chamber to offer a painting station at Rogers Experimental House. Supplies are provided and the community is invited to paint the border of the 48” square wood quilt that, once complete, will be installed on an exterior wall of Andora Real Estate, 401 N 2nd Street.
Celebrate the Magic of the Season: DTR Christmas Pic Passport
The City of Rogers is spreading holiday cheer with the 4th Annual Christmas Pic Passport event. Residents and visitors alike are invited to embrace the holiday spirit by exploring downtown Rogers adorned with dazzling Christmas lights and capturing the magic at seven holiday-themed locations.
This year's Christmas Pic Passport promises a fun experience for the entire community. Participants who visit each of the seven designated locations and capture the festive atmosphere with pictures will be rewarded with a cozy, limited-edition Rogers-branded blanket. The blankets serve as a warm reminder of the joyous occasion and make for a perfect holiday keepsake.
November Downtown Merchant Meet-Up Celebrates Entrepreneurship
November is National Entrepreneurship Month, a time to celebrate the entrepreneurs who serve their communities and bolster the U.S. economy. This week we also recognize the American spirit of entrepreneurship by celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week. Downtown Rogers is the perfect place to celebrate entrepreneurship. Our historic Downtown is largely made up of locally owned businesses, many of which were founded by the people who own and operate them today.
The Downtown Rogers Merchant Meet-Up--a program of the Rogers Lowell Chamber--provides an opportunity for Downtown Rogers business owners, their team members, and other interested individuals, to convene, connect, and converse about relevant topics over coffee.
Rogers Christmas Parade Lights Up Downtown Rogers
Downtown Rogers preparing to light up the night as the community prepares for the annual Christmas Parade. The City of Rogers, along with partners The Rotary Club of Rogers, The Rotary Club of Downtown Rogers, and First National Bank NWA are excited for the annual holiday tradition. Applications for parade entries are being accepted through November 17. The parade will take place Friday, December 1st at 6:30pm in downtown Rogers.
Barks on the Bricks -- The UltiMUTT Art Walk
The month of May is National Pet Month and what better time to highlight our dog friendly Downtown Rogers than with a doggy themed Art on the Bricks Art Walk. The monthly event is a program of The Rogers Lowell Chamber, welcomes the community to shop with artists and pet related businesses and non-profits to participate in “Barks on the Bricks,” 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2023.
A Texas Size Welcome in Downtown Rogers
The Chamber and the City of Rogers hosted a site visit from representatives of Frisco, Texas to discuss urban planning, Downtown revitalization, and comprehensive growth plans for our city. Hosted at Ozark Beer Company in Downtown Rogers, this multi-hour meeting created great conversation highlighting the redevelopment of Downtown Rogers and learning the similar challenges and opportunities found in Frisco.

High Street Real Estate & Development has broken ground on the Ritter and Spool Apartments, an exciting new addition to Downtown Rogers. Located at two corners of South 1st Street and West Chestnut Street, the development will feature two three-story buildings with a total of 45 modern apartment units.
