Frame Shoppe Owner Kerbie Lansford Creatively Balances Family, Business and Community
The Frame Shoppe in Downtown Rogers has been a locally owned framing resource since 1975. Already an experienced framer, Kerbie Lansford first contacted The Frame Shoppe about employment in late 2014, but the owner didn’t have a need, but mentioned wanting to sell in a few years. That fortuitous phone call resulted in the opportunity for Lansford to purchase the business at 215 N 3rd Street in January of 2016. As the owner of a locally owned frame shop, she has taken advantage of resources available to small business owners including developing her first business plan and applying for and securing an SBA Loan with the help of the University of Arkansas Small Business Technology Development Center. Today she continues to realize her dream of owning a frame shop and gallery.
