Loyalty Pays in Downtown Rogers -- Support Local
Locally owned Downtown Rogers businesses thrive on the relationships they build with their customers. These relationships have been especially important this year as some merchants lost days, or even weeks, of revenue due to interruptions caused by the recent storm damage. This is revenue and perhaps even lost inventory that won’t been recovered.
Downtown Rogers businesses understand the value of customer loyalty. Many have implemented various programs to reward their repeat customers.

Downtown Rogers’ Redbud Revival
Beautifying Downtown: In 2009, DTR neighbors initiated a project to plant 22 redbud trees to honor the memory of Cooper Mack. The presence of the neighborhood redbuds signaled new beginnings, hope and love.
-
Cooper, the son of John and Harriet Mack, grew up in Downtown Rogers and was a graduate of Rogers High School.
-
He studied at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City.
-
Upon graduation, he worked as an architect, and was practicing in London, England, when he was diagnosed with leukemia and lost his battle at age 26.
This initiative has brought joy to residents and visitors of Downtown Rogers for 15 years. The devastation of the May 26, 2024 tornadoes inspired neighbors to revive the effort, this time to beautify even more residential streets throughout Downtown Rogers and beyond. The goal is to help replace the many trees were damaged or destroyed.
