Event Description: NWA Fitness & Health Sports Festival Date: Saturday, June 30th, 2012 Location: Bentonville High School campus, 1901 SE "J" Street, Bentonville, AR, 72712 Presenting Sponsors: Beneficiaries: American Diabetes Association, Special Olympics of Arkansas, and other local non-profit organizations Mission and Goal The Mission of the NWA Fitness & Health Sports Festival is to expose life-changing opportunities of fitness and health to NWA and the surrounding states. Our focus and slogan is to educate and receive knowledge how to apply exercises - “Get Fit”, motivate and stay consistent to achieve your goal - “Stay Fit”, and support everyone’s main goal of fitness or performance - “Be SuperFit”. You will be able to see a positive attitude among everyone in a safe and relaxed atmosphere throughout the entire sports festival, to inspire people to change their lives by becoming more physically active, and educate attendees on nutritional food choices. The Goal is that every person who experiences this Sports Festival is able to take away something new that they did not know before regarding new products, competitions, nutritional eating habits, or methods of exercise. We want to help these people adjust this new knowledge to their own lives and benefit not only themselves, but help others achieve their goals as well. Event Times Pro Course: 7:00am - 10:00am Team ThrowDown Challenge (3 event [WOD] starting times) This event will be held on July 7th: 8:00am - 9:45am 10:30am - 12:15pm 1:00pm - 2:45pm Arkansas' Strongest Man: 8:00am - 2:00pm Natural Powerlifting Classic: 9:00am - 3:00pm NWA Natural Championships: 8:30 am – 11:00 am (prejudging) 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm (Finals) Fitness & Health Expo: 10:00 am – 3:30 pm Admission: Free to the public.
