Property Tax
Arkansas does not collect a state property
tax, however, cities and counties collect
property tax, which is the principal source
of revenue for those units of government. In
Benton County, assessments are made on all
property, real and personal. The assessment
on real estate is 20% of the true or market
value. Personal property tax assessment is
20% of the usual value of such property.
