Event Description: All families of Northwest Arkansas are invited to the annual “Trunk R Treat” event presented by the First Baptist Church of Lowell, 409 Johnson Ave. in Lowell, Ark., on Monday, Oct. 31, 2011. This is the largest Trunk R Treat event in the area with an estimated 4,000 attendees last year. This free event is offered as a community service to the residents of Northwest Arkansas. It is presented as a family-friendly alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating. The church purchases approximately 100,000 pieces of candy to be distributed. People from the church decorate their vehicles and pass out candy as the public walks by viewing their creative entries. Free refreshments, including corn dogs and sodas, will be served. The hours for the event are 6-8 p.m. We invite the public to join us for this fabulous event.
