Local Mary Kay Sales Director Recognized
Independent Sales Director at Mary Kay, Inc. Kristie Morrison was recently named to the Princess Court of Sales. To be named to the court, Kristi had to sell $20,000+ in retail sales in the past year. Kristi will be recognized at the yearly Mary Kay Seminar in Dallas July 21-24 and will also receive a beautiful jewelry set. Congratulations to Kristi on this accomplishment!

Susie Hoeller First ARWTC/Global Campus Graduate of FITT Program
Susie Hoeller, an Arkansas World Trade Center-ARWTC Member, traveled to Ottawa, Canada to represent the ARWTC at the Forum for International Trade Training-FITT’s 13th National Conference.  Susie was recognized as a graduate of the FITT program and received her designation as a Certified International Trade Professional -CITP.  Susie is now among over 400 graduates of CITPs around the globe bringing a new level of expertise and accountability to the field of international trade. The CITP designation, known as the FITT International Business Professional-FIBP in the United States and European Union, is the leading credential for professionals working in international trade and is an indication of their advanced knowledge and skills.  We are proud to have Susie Hoeller as the first graduate of the FITT program at the ARWTC and the University of Arkansas Global Campus. Susie is also an instructor for some of the FITT courses and a practicing international attorney with the Hoeller Law Firm in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Appreciation Event for Dance Studio Owners/Instructors
The Dance and More Store is hosting the appreciation event Saturday, August 14 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Springdale. We are in need of goody bag items, coupons, door prizes and one-time freebies. Friendly Bookstore Anniversary
The Friendly Bookstore recently celebrated 2 years in its present location, 401 North 2nd Street. The Bookstore is an all volunteer operation of the Friends of the Rogers Public Library and has not only high quality used books but A/V materials, magazines, and puzzles. For their donors The Bookstore is a wonderful way to recycle. It stocks a large selection of used books, magazines and audiovisual material priced to fit any budget. Sherwin-Willams Anniversary Paint Sale!

Artist Reception
Karrie Evenson is known for her bright, bold colors and loose, free style of painting. Karrie's work will be featured at Julie Wait Design Gallery July 12-August 13. A reception will be held 6-8p.m. July 16th during the Third Friday Twilight Walk in the Roger's Historic District. She is the host of the television show “Karrie On Canvas” which features painting how to’s and airs on Jones Television, Channel 22.

Poor Richard's Featured Artist of the Month
Zeek Taylor is Poor Richard's Art Gallery's featured artist the month of July. Meet Zeek July 16th 5-9p.m. during the Third Friday Twilight Walk in the Roger's Historic District! “Working with watercolor, I often forsake the standard rules imposed on the medium, exploring all possibilities, while ever respectful of its’ transparent and fluid properties. I paint with greater concern for style over realism with a focus on pattern and color theory. The one rule that I adhere to is “break the rules,” Zeek Taylor.
