 We are fortunate to live in such a dynamic region and to have such a strong community leadership base. 2008 promises to be an exciting year and a year that will require hard work and participation from our members as we plan for our future through the Vision 2025 process. Both Rogers and Lowell need to stay out in front of the planning curve if we are to continue to be one of the hot spots for national growth as we have been in the past. Both communities continue to grow and need to constantly look at infrastructure needs as well as community amenities in order to thrive.
Leadership is another key area we need to begin to develop as our younger, emerging leaders move into key positions. Pride in community as well as the gift of time and talent has brought northwest Arkansas to the top of many national lists recognizing what a great place we all have to live work and play. We are pleased to see so many of our bright, young professionals stepping into leadership roles and engaging in their future.
By the end of 2008 we hope to see our membership grow to 2,000 members. As one of a handful of Five-Star Accredited Chambers nationally, we hope that you will become engaged in your Chamber and help lead us to an even brighter future.
